ENGINEERED FLOATING SLABS
Floating slabs can be used as a foundation for buildings like sheds, car garages, barns, house additions and storage buildings.
The slabs have a thickened reinforced perimeter but no frost footings, and they are called "floating" because they are allowed to move above the frost line as a a single jointless unit. By adding insulation you can minimize the movement caused by frost.
